Specification Tips – Specify anti-floatation flanges with “steel ring” inserts for basins with depths greater than 10’-0” to improve structural integrity and keep the basin from pushing up out of the ground. Specify “access hatch” type covers for all pump basins utilizing rail systems to allow for easy access and maintenance of the pumps.
